a) SEMESTERS
The University's academic year is divided into two semesters. Lessons and exams are held from Monday to Friday (in Imperia these are also held on Saturday mornings).
b) LESSONS
• of courses with 6 ECTS credits (48 hours and 36 hours for the Bachelor’s in Management Tourism Sciences of Imperia) are delivered on a 4 hours per week basis for all courses for a total of 12 weeks;
• of courses with 9 ECTS credits (72 hours and 54 hours for the Bachelor’s in Management Tourism Sciences of Imperia) are delivered on a 6 hours per week basis for all courses for a total of 12 weeks.
c) EXAMS:
for all courses:
• 4 exam sessions during the exam period at the end of the semester in which lessons for the course were held;
• 2 exam sessions during the exam period at the end of the semester in which lessons for the course were not held;
• 1 exam session during the autumn exam period.

• 24 December 2018 – 4 January 2019 - Winter break
• 18 February 2019 - Lessons begin for all courses

• 31 May 2019 - Lessons end for all courses
• 3 June – 12 July 2019 - Summer exam period
• 2 – 13 September 2019 - Autumn exam period (1 session)
• 8 October 2018 - Graduation session begins to discuss theses
• 11 February 2019 - Graduation session begins to discuss theses
• 18 March 2019 - Graduation session begins to discuss theses
